    Paul D Borden, PhD 

    Paul Borden, is Executive Minister of Growing Healthy Churches (formerly American Baptist Churches of the West) and is in demand nationally as a church consultant. Direct Hit is the second Abingdon publication by Borden, whose first book, Hit the Bullseye, has sold 11,000 copies.

     

    Paul spent several decades preparing for his current work in both ministry and education leadership.  In the past 30 years, Paul has served as a Church Growth Consultant for American Baptist Churches of the West (San Ramon, CA);  Executive Director of the Teaching Church Network (Minneapolis, MN);  Director of Church Consulting for the Evangelical Free Church of America (Denver, CO);  Director of the Doctor of Ministry program, Associate Professor of Homiletics (tenured), Executive Vice President, Academic Dean, and acting CEO at Denver Seminary (Denver, CO);  Executive Minister / Co-Pastor at Bear Valley Church (Denver, CO);  Academic Dean, Professor of Bible and Theology at Western Bible College (Now Colorado Christian University) (Lakewood, CO);  and Pastor of Bible Baptist Church (Trenton, NJ).
     
    Paul’s degrees include a Ph.D. from University of Denver (Higher Education Administration). Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary and a B.S. from Philadelphia College of Bible.

    He is the father of two innovative children and grandfather to four marvelous girls.  He and Teresa reside in Northern California.

    Teresa Flint-Borden

    Teresa Flint-Borden is a fourth-generation female business entrepreneur, with 30 years experience as a business owner. She pioneered the first para-medical day spa in Colorado. With 25 employees and 2,500 clients each month, her business became a pacesetter for standards in para-medical day spas. Flint-Borden received several Chamber of Commerce Business awards as a result of her business work, and was also named Outstanding Business Woman of the Year.

     

    She currently serves part-time as a consultant to non-profit organizations, a certified facilitator on personal change and transition, and a teacher/trainer on a number of topics and personal assessment tools.

     

    As a social advocate, Flint-Borden has received community recognitions for her work with unwed mothers, cancer survivors, and AIDS research and prevention. She created and leads Women of the Word, a non-profit agency designed to empower disadvantaged women. She is also passionate about her advocacy work for clergy spouses. As a historical interpreter, Flint-Borden has developed such dramatic presentations as, “Giving Biblical Women a Voice.”

     

    She is the mother of two creative, talented children, and a grandmother.  She and Paul reside in Northern California.
